When I was writing the song, lyrically, I tried to strike a balance between the more universal, relatable aspects of Christmas and then there are some traditions that are much more unique to the Conniffe household! For example, the line about the three wise men on their way to the crib -

When I was writing the song, lyrically, I tried to strike a balance between the more universal, relatable aspects of Christmas and then there are some traditions that are much more unique to the Conniffe household! For example, the line about the three wise men on their way to the crib - in the story of the nativity, they are not supposed to arrive until January 6th so, for that reason, they need to begin their journey in the next room and then the Conniffe family as a team help them on their way over the Christmas period so that they arrive on time. I get the feeling that not everybody does that :)
